Job Summary:
- Working experience in Credit/Debit Card Systems.
- Must possess experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z/OS and mainframe environment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.
- Provides technical guidance to junior developers.
- Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)
- Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
- Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance
- Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing
- JIRA/ ADO/ Confluence updates
- User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
- Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
- Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks/ projects.
- Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Nice to have:
- API/SOLACE/JAVA knowledge/skills.
- Automation skills
- Knowledge in Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavour, and Expeditor would be an added advantage
