Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe technologies and will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical applications that support our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe applications.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 databases.
• Experience with mainframe tools such as CICS and VSAM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
