Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10+ years Experience Mainframe Production Support professional responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining batch processing, scheduling, file transfers, and production environments across Production, QA, and Test regions.
- Responsible for Mainframe Production Support activities, ensuring smooth system operations.
- Perform JCL troubleshooting and resolve abends efficiently to maintain job stability.
- Manage job scheduling and monitoring using OPC/TWS.
- Handle file transfers using NDM / Connect Direct.
- Manage datasets including VSAM, GDG, BIOS, and TIF.
- Provide support for PDX deployments and related activities.
- Manage and resolve issues through ITSM ticketing systems.
- Monitor batch jobs and perform recovery actions when required.
- Handle incident and problem management to ensure minimal downtime.
- Support IPL activities as part of system maintenance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills in day-to-day operations.

- Provides end-to-end support for batch operations, job recovery, incident management, and weekend IPL activities while ensuring high system availability and timely issue resolution.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in JCL, OPC/TWS scheduling, NDM/Connect: Direct transfers, VSAM and GDG dataset management, PDX deployment activities, ITSM ticket handling, and production support processes.
- Collaborates with development teams, storage teams, clients, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues, perform recoveries, manage escalations, and support critical business operations.
