Mainframe Assembler Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications using Assembler, IMS, and COBOL
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient mainframe solutions
• Perform coding, debugging, unit testing, and implementation of mainframe programs
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal guidance from onsite teams
• Work independently on assigned modules and deliver within defined timelines
• Perform impact analysis and support enhancements for existing applications
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and security best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development and support phases
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as required
