About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe developer to join our team. The ideal candidate would have 4-10 years of experience in application/system programming specifically in Assembly language, JCL, VSAM and HLASM macros, XDC.

Mandatory Skills: Assembler, JCL, ZOS

Key Responsibilities:

Must have skill: Minimum 4+ years in Assembler/Assembly language Experience.

1. Perform design and development in core assembly language able to understand asm macros. Resolve customer issues based on customer logs.

2. Collaborate with the L2 team to understand customer issues and provide proactive query resolution on customer scenarios.

3. Deliver high quality code for new development or customer issues.

4. Actively debug code to identify issues.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate development progress and coordinate efforts for timely closure.

6. Stay up to date with industry best practices, technologies, and methodologies related to z/os mainframe.

7. Preferred experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment.

8. Preferred experience with C, z/os system macros functioning, TLS, SSL etc.
