Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Magento Developer with strong Frontend expertise to join our remote development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on Magento 2, along with excellent skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver seamless user experiences and maintain high-performance eCommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce websites
- Work on frontend development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Optimize Magento performance for speed and scalability
- Work with backend developers and QA teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth site functionality
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across frontend and Magento codebases
- Stay up to date with Magento and frontend development best practices
Must-Have Skills:
- 35 years of experience in Magento 2 development
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Hands-on experience with Magento theming and layout customization
- Familiarity with Knockout.js used in Magento UI components
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of version control tools like Git
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Good to Have:
- Experience with Magento PWA Studio
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs in Magento
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL
