Job Description:
- Responsibilities:
- Implement custom functionality in Adobe Commerce (Magento) using PHP.
- Produce quality code in keeping with best practice methods.
- Perform tasks regarding development, configuration, and data transfers.
- Setup interactions between Adobe Commerce and other systems (such as AEM, Mulesoft, and others), via GraphQL and API calls.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify solutions and test scenarios needed to confirm new functionality meets business requirements, security, and quality standards.
- Setup site performance tasks using working knowledge of load testing techniques and best practices.
- Proactively evaluate work requested and being performed to ensure efforts are aligned with expected project and best practice approach.
- Communicate clearly with the team to achieve a full understanding of effort needed.
- Communicate with QA and UAT teams providing guidance on how to test new features.
- Keep up to date with all industry changes and latest methodology within the commerce industry as applies to coding practices.
- Update website features, security patches and Adobe Commerce configuration.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies.
- Participate in solution design & deployment activities.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Preferred Skills:
- Adobe Commerce / Magento 2.x Certification(s).
- Experience with B2B eCommerce.
- Experience working with global sites and many brands.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce or Magento serving over a million products.
- Experience working with Application Performance Monitoring & Management tools such as New Relic.
- Experience working with Azure.
- Elastic Search.
