Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based ecommerce platforms (Magento 2.x preferred)
- Integrate Magento with third-party systems including MariaDB, CMS (Drupal), and identity providers (AWS Cognito)
- Collaborate with front-end developers using React + RemixJS to ensure seamless UX/UI integration
- Work closely with design teams to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect Magento templates and themes
- Optimize site performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and integration challenges
- Participate in code reviews and follow Magento development best practices
- Implement and maintain APIs and webhooks for various integrations
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 development (themes, modules, APIs)
- Strong understanding of Magento architecture, database structure, and customization techniques
- Experience integrating Magento with AWS Cognito, MariaDB, and external CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal)
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and working knowledge of JavaScript/HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with Magento REST & SOAP APIs
- Comfortable working in a Git-based collaborative environment
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills
