Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Machining of core, cavity, other elements as per the drawing/plan provided.
- Planning of critical fixture for Sink Edm requisites.
- Maintaining the jobs as per the required accuracy levels.
- Suggest the spark gaps and choose the right process to get desired dimension and surface finish.
- To read the electrode offset drawings and sink edm the job as per the drawing dimensions.
Equipment Used
Sink Edm machine, Measuring equipment, Telephone, Computer & Photo copier & Fax.
Other Position Duties:
Reporting the daily/monthly utilization of the machine.
Technical/Functional Skill Sets:
- Good knowledge on electode design with the suitable spark gaps for meeting the requisites.
- Good hands on experience in using basis metrology equipment.
- Good knowledge of working in CNC sink edm machines Agie Charmilies, Makino, Sodick etc..
- Basis computer knowledge.
Personal Qualities/Characteristics required for the position:
- Good communication skills.
- Good vision of eye sight.
- Willing to work rotating shifts.
