Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience in operating various machining equipment and will be responsible for producing precision components that meet strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various types of machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for machining tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve machining processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-10 years of experience in machining or related field.
- Proficient in operating CNC and manual machines.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of different materials and their machining properties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
