Job Role
Maintenance of machines and equipment. Specialization in Machine Shop Maintenance from a reputed 4-wheeler Automobile OEM is a must.
Job Responsibilities
- Independent shift management and working as Shift Incharge (Working in all 3 shifts & Six Day Roster), keeping safety on priority (day-to-day resource planning as per requirement & manpower handling)
- Inventory management, Spare parts planning & procurement
- Preventive maintenance planning & execution
- Troubleshooting in JTEKT grinding machines, NTC/Howa/Makino/Harkoss make machining centers, Honing, Lapping, Marposs Measuring systems (In-process and Post-process), Gantry transfer systems, Press, Leak Test Machine, etc.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly, Hydraulic, Lubrication, Pneumatic, Filtration, and Transmission systems.
- Knowledge of CNC (Fanuc, Siemens, Bosch Rexroth), PLC (Mitsubishi, Siemens), AC Drives & other Electrical systems.
- Extensive usage of Predictive Maintenance Technologies.
- Latest maintenance techniques, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), B/d analysis, and countermeasures.
- Knowledge of machining processes
- Knowledge of SAP / Digital Tools / Analytics
- Preparation of Technical comparison of various products and evaluation of performance parameters
- Sunday/ Holiday & Shutdown work planning (spare & manpower),
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports preparation
- Basic Japanese shop floor principles
Competencies / Skills
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical assy drawings
- Good knowledge of machining centers & SPM's spindle assy, their troubleshooting & fault fixing
- Good knowledge of rotary tables, auto tool changers, ball screw assy, m/c slides, etc.
- Good Knowledge of Turret, Spindles Assembly (BT40/HSK), Drawbar, collet, Ball screw replacement, Slide Repairing, Bearings, Machine Overhauling.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic systems including various types of hyd power packs, pumps, cylinders, solenoids, etc, and their maintenance
- Good knowledge of gearbox and m/c jig/fixtures maintenance
- Good knowledge of lubrication systems, pneumatic systems, valves, cylinders
- Knowledge about basic Electrical Maintenance, electrical drawings, PLC logic, sensors & their troubleshooting.
- Well-versed in computer skills, with experience in ERP and knowledge about SAP.
- Good communication & presentation skills
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 audit documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 (Information Security) & ISO 45001 (Safety) audit
- Ability to prioritize & deploy resources, and coordinate with production & production engineering.
- Good leadership skills and team motivating skills
- Analytical to analyze performance issues both from machines & man
- Able to impart technical & soft skill training to subordinates.
- Ability to work in large teams and cross-function teams
