Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation

• Operate assigned machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and ensure consistent production output.
• Conduct routine checks and report any malfunctions or anomalies.

Production Support

• Assist in meeting production targets and maintaining workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize machine performance.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products.

Maintenance and Safety

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment issues immediately.

Quality Control

• Inspect products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify defects or deviations and take corrective actions or escalate to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation as required.

Continuous Improvement

• Suggest improvements to processes, machine operations, or workflow to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions and skill development programs.
• Assist in implementation of Lean Manufacturing or process optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, technical diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing fields.
• 3–7 years of experience operating machinery in production, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Good understanding of machine operations, safety protocols, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and production specifications.
• Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation.
