About the Program

At Thinknovaa, we're doing things differently. This isn't a traditional job or a standard internship—it's an open collaboration program designed for aspiring backend developers to gain hands-on, real-world experience. If you are self-taught, a student, or transitioning careers, this is a space for you to build scalable backend systems, develop APIs, strengthen your portfolio, and learn by doing alongside our team.

What You'll Do

Build Backend Systems: Develop reliable server-side applications and backend services for real-world projects.

Develop APIs: Design and build REST APIs that connect frontend applications with backend services and databases.

Write Server-Side Logic: Implement application logic, authentication, authorization, validation, and other backend functionality.

Work with Databases: Design, manage, and query databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, or similar technologies.

Integrate External Services: Connect applications with third-party APIs, payment systems, authentication services, and other external platforms.

Debug & Optimize: Identify backend issues, troubleshoot errors, improve application performance, and optimize database queries.

Ensure Security: Follow basic backend security practices for authentication, authorization, data validation, and secure API development.

Collaborate & Deploy: Work with the team on real projects, use Git/GitHub for version control, and gain exposure to deploying and maintaining backend applications.

Who You Are

Passionate about backend development and eager to learn—no specific degree required.

Comfortable with programming fundamentals and basic problem-solving concepts.

Familiar with at least one backend programming language such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, PHP, or similar.

Have a basic understanding of APIs, databases, HTTP, and server-side development concepts.

Bonus points: If you know Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, PHP/Laravel, SQL, MongoDB, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, or have previously built backend projects.

Curious, logical, driven, and comfortable asking questions, solving problems, and learning new technologies.
