Position Overview

The company is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join its growing AI/ML team. You'll design and deploy ML systems that power document understanding, fraud detection, and identity verification for millions of users. This is a hands-on role spanning computer vision, LLMs, and multimodal AI, with ownership of the complete ML lifecycle from data analysis to production deployment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build, train, and deploy ML and Deep Learning models for production use cases
• Develop AI solutions for document understanding, face analysis, forgery detection, and visual reasoning
• Build and integrate LLM and GenAI solutions for extraction, reasoning, and decision support
• Own the ML lifecycle end-to-end — from data analysis and experimentation to deployment and monitoring
• Write clean, efficient, and testable Python code for ML pipelines and services
• Optimize model performance, latency, reliability, and cost in production environments
• Collaborate with backend, platform, and product teams to ship scalable ML systems

Must Have Criteria

• 1–3 years of hands-on Python experience for ML, DL, and GenAI development
• Strong fundamentals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, linear algebra, and optimization
• Practical experience with PyTorch for deep learning model development and training
• Hands-on computer vision experience using OpenCV and PIL for image processing tasks
• Experience with OCR engines and building document processing pipelines
• Exposure to LLMs and GenAI systems, including prompt engineering or fine-tuning
• Demonstrated experience taking at least one ML model from development to production

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, compliance, fraud detection, or identity verification domains
• MLOps exposure — model monitoring, experiment tracking with MLflow, or CI/CD for ML
• Background in document processing, layout parsing, or automated verification systems
• Familiarity with Indian identity infrastructure — Aadhaar, DigiLocker, or KYC workflows
