About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), backend machine learning systems, and agentic AI solutions. This role involves fine-tuning state-of-the-art models, building scalable inference services, and developing intelligent automation tools that support our translation and Virtual Interpreter (VI) platforms. The engineer will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining robust ML pipelines, ensuring high-performance deployment, and advancing our AI capabilities to meet evolving client needs.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate a strong proficiency in Python programming, particularly in machine learning and backend development. Hands-on experience with fine-tuning LLMs such as Qwen, DeepSeek, and LLaMA is essential, along with familiarity with NLP workflows and model deployment frameworks. Candidates must have practical knowledge of deploying ML models in production environments, utilizing tools like Triton Inference Server and vLLM. A solid understanding of agent-based AI systems, automation frameworks, and data annotation processes is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setup, and strong communication abilities are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, production-grade Python code to implement, optimize, and maintain machine learning pipelines, services, and tools.
- Fine-tune and adapt Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Qwen, DeepSeek, and LLaMA on translation datasets, internal policies, employee handbooks, and training materials.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend ML services using Python, including FastAPI-based microservices, and manage model deployment and inference using Triton Inference Server and vLLM.
- Develop agentic AI solutions to support process optimization and workflow automation across internal systems.
- Build and maintain data annotation pipelines to facilitate model training and evaluation.
- Perform QA testing, validation, and performance evaluation of Virtual Interpreter tools, ML models, and workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and NLP to continuously improve model performance and system capabilities.
