About Position:

The L2 Support Engineer for Microsoft 365 provides advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and administration for O365 services. This role acts as an escalation point for L1 support teams and ensures smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaboration Services:
  • Provide second-level technical support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Azure AD.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents related to: Email flow, mailboxes, distribution lists, Teams calling, meetings, and collaboration issues, SharePoint/OneDrive access, sync, and permissions, Authentication issues (MFA, SSO, conditional access), Licensing and user provisioning.
  • Perform advanced administration tasks such as: Managing O365 security & compliance policies, Configuring Exchange Online rules, connectors, and transport settings, Managing SharePoint sites, permissions, and storage, Monitoring service health and incident advisories, Work with Microsoft support for unresolved or complex issues, Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and SOPs for L1 teams, Support onboarding/offboarding processes and user lifecycle management, Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives, Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Strong, demonstrated expertise in PowerShell for O365 automation and reporting. Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls). Familiarity with security concepts such as DLP, retention policies, and compliance. Ability to analyze logs, message traces, and audit reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Exchange Online administration, Teams administration & troubleshooting, SharePoint Online & OneDrive, Azure Active Directory (users, groups, roles, MFA), Intune (MDM/MAM).
