Review, coordinate and verify mechanical & electrical construction drawings (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, power supply, lighting, weak current systems) with architectural, structural and facade drawings to eliminate clash issues.
Oversee on-site M&E installation works, monitor construction progress, material quality, workmanship and safety compliance.
Check incoming M&E materials for certification and compliance manage mechanical/electrical subcontractors, allocate daily tasks and inspect finished works.
Prepare technical submittals, weekly/monthly progress reports, variation orders, site inspection records and as-built drawings
Organize system pressure tests, electrical insulation tests, fire system inspections and final commissioning of all M&E systems before handover
Ensure all installations meet local building codes, SCDF, energy authority requirements coordinate official inspections and rectify defects.
2. Key Responsibilities
Resolve technical problems on site instantly to avoid construction delay.
Conduct daily safety patrols for electrical, machinery and high-risk M&E operations.
Communicate with maincon and subcontractors for technical alignment.
Record site defects and issue rectification notices with clear deadlines.
Ensure all M&E equipment and materials have valid test certificates and approvals.
Support handover process, compile operation & maintenance manuals for building M&E systems.

Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
