Job Summary

Support the M&E Manager and Project Manager by managing M&E subcontractors, supervising work progress and quality, preparing technical drawings and reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and standards for successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive M&E engineering support to the M&E Manager and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage and coordinate with M&E subcontractors to maintain work progress according to schedule
  • Monitor and supervise work progression and quality control to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations
  • Attend project and progress meetings to align work with the master program schedule
  • Prepare structural penetration shop drawings for approval to meet project specifications
  • Oversee and guide M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work follows approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements
  • Prepare accurate and detailed M&E progress reports with photographs as required for project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building or civil projects with a main contractor

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong communication skills demonstrated by effective coordination and reporting in English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player in a multidisciplinary project environment
