Job Summary
Support the M&E Manager and Project Manager by managing M&E subcontractors, supervising work progress and quality, preparing technical drawings and reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and standards for successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive M&E engineering support to the M&E Manager and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage and coordinate with M&E subcontractors to maintain work progress according to schedule
- Monitor and supervise work progression and quality control to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations
- Attend project and progress meetings to align work with the master program schedule
- Prepare structural penetration shop drawings for approval to meet project specifications
- Oversee and guide M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work follows approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements
- Prepare accurate and detailed M&E progress reports with photographs as required for project documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building or civil projects with a main contractor
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong communication skills demonstrated by effective coordination and reporting in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player in a multidisciplinary project environment
