How You'll Make An Impact

As a LSS Process Technology Engineer - IMEA, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for providing operations input to influence decisions throughout the new product commercialization process, leading global process technology improvements, and driving asset productivity savings. You will also be a key contact for global manufacturing facilities to provide ongoing LSS products with safety support, product quality support, process standardization, and driving continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Process Innovation and Process Technology to identify and validate Most Effective Technology (MET) value propositions and implementation strategies.
  • Drive LSS global alignment and achievement of MET standards.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and drive root cause analysis for process deviations or non conformances.
  • Identify and lead global productivity improvement projects initiatives aligned with business and manufacturing strategy.
  • Lead projects and present project status updates, clearly communicate goals, progress, and results.
  • Effective collaboration with other departments, such as global commercial and technical teams, Product Integrity, Supply Chain, Master Data, R&D, Global Operations, and 3rd Party Manufacturing.
  • Conduct process safety reviews, participate in HAZOPs, and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with applicable internal and external Lubrizol and HSES policies.
  • Lead new product commercialization products to the region through technical support.
  • Proven experience in leading the development of new product process routes, from concept to commercialization.

Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years chemical manufacturing industry experience
  • Effective at identifying and implementing people, process, and technology changes
  • Effective interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and technical writing skills
  • Self-driven with ability to manage and lead multiple technology assignments
  • Continuous improvement focus
  • Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills
