Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loss & Prevention Officer for the e-commerce team to safeguard operational integrity and mitigate inventory loss. In this role, you will investigate stock discrepancies, review CCTV and system records to resolve disputes, and conduct process audits. You will collaborate closely with fulfillment teams to enforce SOPs and maintain accurate incident tracking.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor operational losses, including damaged, missing, or incorrect items, and investigate stock discrepancies to identify root causes.
- Escalate suspicious or high-risk cases to management promptly while maintaining organized investigation records and case tracking.
- Review CCTV footage, system records, and scanning history to gather supporting evidence for customer disputes and internal incidents.
- Conduct routine audits and spot checks to identify process gaps and ensure operational teams strictly adhere to SOPs and security procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident and damage reports for management review.
- Collaborate closely with Warehouse, Customer Service, and Invoicing teams to resolve cases efficiently.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Logistics, eCommerce, or a related field.
- Possess 1–2 years of experience in loss prevention, inventory management, or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of eCommerce fulfillment, returns, and inventory movement.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace for tracking, reporting, and maintaining organized records.
- Familiar with basic CCTV software (this is an added advantage).
- Able to communicate and write in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work flexible operational hours (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with the adaptability to work weekends or overtime when needed for urgent cases.
