Role Purpose

Are you a proactive, safety-savvy ex-mariner with a knack for risk management We are seeking a dynamic Loss Prevention Executive to drive excellence in risk management and claims reduction across our geo-sector and specialty areas. You will leverage your technical, operational and safety expertise to enhance risk selection capabilities, and work closely with our claims and underwriting teams and our shipowner members to help reduce operational risks.

What will you be doing

Key responsibilities will include:

. Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and members

. Advise on condition survey matters

. Lead impactful projects, workstreams and deliver engaging training

. Forge strong relationships and build trust across the business and within the maritime industry

. Shape and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks

. Support the claims function with technical, and operational input.

. Produce safety articles and presentations for our members

Ad Hoc Duties

Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks as allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

About you

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Essential

. COC1 holder with senior deck or engine experience

. Shoreside experience in ship management or survey company

. Comfortable speaking in public

. Willing to travel

. Proactive, flexible and able to work autonomously

. IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office 365

. Senior Executive title will align with experience and seniority
