Role Description This full-time, on-site Loss Prevention Associate role is based at a Marriott International property in Jaipur. The role involves monitoring hotel premises and security systems to safeguard guests, associates, and assets, including conducting regular patrols and safety checks in public areas, back-of-house spaces, and restricted zones. The Loss Prevention Associate supports incident reporting and investigation, assists with emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with hotel policies, local regulations, and brand safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with front office and operations teams on guest safety matters, managing access control, handling lost and found procedures, and helping deliver a secure, welcoming environment. The associate also participates in safety training, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of loss prevention processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong observation, situational awareness, and risk assessment skills to identify potential security and safety issues promptly.
  • Candidates should possess skills in incident reporting, documentation, and basic investigation, including clear written communication and attention to detail.
  • Candidates should possess effective interpersonal and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues in sensitive situations.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to follow security protocols, emergency procedures, and compliance guidelines, including local laws and company policies.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in using basic security-related tools or systems, such as CCTV monitoring, access control devices, and communication equipment.
  • Previous experience in loss prevention, security, hospitality operations, or a related field is beneficial.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training or certification in security, safety, or hospitality is an advantage.
  • Candidates should be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed by hotel operations.
