Job Description

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a proficient Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement data management strategies, and ensure data quality, security, and availability. The Data Engineer will leverage experience in cloud platforms, big data tools, and modern development practices to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the organization.

  1. Strong experience in Java (17 or above) with hands-on development in enterprise-grade applications.
  2. Proven expertise in Spring Boot & Microservices architecture with RESTful API development.
  3. Experience working with Apache Beam for data processing pipelines and stream/batch processing.
  4. Solid knowledge of Apache Spark (SPARK) for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  5. Good understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and performance optimization techniques.
  6. Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices.
  7. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
  8. Exposure to Python scripting for automation or data processing (good to have).
  9. Experience leveraging AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder communication, and ability to work in an agile environment.
