Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and expertise in building and optimizing BI solutions, with a focus on Looker and cloud data platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, client engagement, and delivering actionable insights through advanced data analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain Looker BI solutions including LookML modeling, Looker dashboards and explores.

Well versed with Looker reporting standards and best practices.

Work with GCP, BigQuery, and other cloud-based data warehouses to handle large-scale data operations.

Perform exploratory data analysis, design ETL processes, and automate data workflows.

Tune and optimize Looker reports and queries to improve system performance and user experience.

Implement and enforce data governance, security, and access control policies within Looker environments.

Collaborate with client teams, manage projects end-to-end, and maintain strong client relationships.

Provide thought leadership in analytics, generating insights that influence business decisions.

Utilize SQL, BigQuery, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

Leverage version control systems such as Git for LookML development.

Independently tackle complex data and BI challenges, demonstrating strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead the approach to problem-solving and deliver analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

Master's or bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, computer engineering or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement

5+ years of relevant experience with strong analytical and BI development skills

3+ years of experience in Looker Business Intelligence

Strong expertise in Data modeling and BI

Strong skills in SQL and BigQuery

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, or other cloud-based data warehouses.

Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization of Looker reports and queries.

Understanding data governance, security, and access control within Looker.

Experience in version control systems (Git) for LookML development is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving, project management, and client management skills

Prior experience in analytics-based consulting is desirable

Preferred domain expertise in Retail, Media, Aviation or Sports

Excellent communication skills
