About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize our transportation and distribution network. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 3PL management, route planning, fleet operations, long-haul transportation, and last-mile delivery execution.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and reliable movement of products across India while maintaining service levels for time-sensitive and perishable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound, outbound, and inter-warehouse movements.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners, transporters, warehouses, and distribution teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Drive route planning and delivery optimization to improve vehicle utilization, reduce freight costs, and enhance on-time delivery performance.
- Monitor and improve long-haul transportation networks as well as last-mile delivery operations.
- Analyze logistics KPIs including freight costs, delivery timelines, fill rates, transit losses, and service levels.
- Identify network optimization opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
- Manage transportation planning for modern trade, general trade, quick commerce, and e-commerce channels.
- Develop dashboards and reporting systems to track operational performance and support decision-making.
- Resolve logistics bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain.
- Strong experience working with 3PL providers and transportation partners.
- Proven expertise in route planning, network optimization, and delivery scheduling.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and logistics analytics tools.
- Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP systems, and logistics dashboards is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling perishable products, food, dairy, poultry, fresh produce, cold chain, or FMCG distribution.
- Exposure to pan-India transportation networks.
- Experience managing quick commerce and e-commerce fulfillment logistics.
