Role Description

Naagin is seeking a dedicated and organized Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Dapode, Bhiwandi, Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will oversee day-to-day logistics and supply chain functions. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and improving operational efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide an exceptional customer service experience and addressing operational challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Supply Chain Management
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Optimize transportation routes, warehouse utilization, and inventory management.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to achieve favorable terms.
• Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to local and international shipping regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Process Improvement
• Identify inefficiencies in logistics workflows and implement solutions.
• Leverage technology (ERP, TMS, WMS) to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse teams.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Reporting & Analytics
• Track KPIs such as delivery times, cost per shipment, and order accuracy.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in logistics software (ERP, TMS, WMS).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
