Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, transportation management systems).
- Excellent analytical skills to assess logistics performance and identify improvements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage vendor relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
