Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Logistics Manager to oversee and manage logistics operations in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment. The role requires deep understanding of logistics processes, supply chain coordination, and
hands-on experience with SAP logistics modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods, while leveraging SAP to drive data accuracy, process optimization, and operational visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations:
- Manage end-to-end logistics functions, including inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics schedules with operational needs.
- Optimize transportation and distribution strategies to minimize costs and delivery times.
SAP System Management
- Utilize SAP (MM, SD, WM, LE) modules to manage logistics and warehouse functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into SAP for inventory movements, shipping documentation, and material tracking.
- Work closely with IT and SAP support teams to implement process improvements and resolve system issues.
- Generate logistics and inventory reports using SAP analytics.
Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring FIFO/FEFO practices, stock accuracy, and efficient space utilization.
- Implement inventory control procedures and periodic stock audits using SAP.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Transportation Management
- Select and manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transporters.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues in real-time using SAP Logistics Execution (LE) tools.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies in logistics operations.
- Maintain proper documentation for all shipments in compliance with trade and customs regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 46 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with SAP ERP, especially logistics modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and SAP LE (Logistics Execution).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
