About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused logistics professional to manage end-to-end transportation, dispatch execution, warehouse coordination, freight management, and vendor relationships. The role will work closely with procurement, warehouse, sales, manufacturing, and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries, optimize transportation costs, and maintain high service levels. The ideal candidate should have strong operational expertise, analytical capabilities, and experience managing logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and coordinate daily dispatches to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to customer commitments.
  • Manage primary and secondary transportation activities and monitor shipment movement.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, transporters, and internal stakeholders for seamless logistics execution.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage transporters and logistics service providers.
  • Negotiate freight rates and contracts to achieve transportation cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization, freight costs, transit times, and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability and dispatch readiness.
  • Support inventory reconciliation activities and resolve dispatch-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely freight bill verification and payment processing.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and verification of e-way bills, invoices, LR copies, PODs, and other logistics documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for optimization and savings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on route optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Support logistics digitalization and automation initiatives wherever applicable.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management or Operations is preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience managing transporters, freight vendors, and logistics service providers.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning, dispatch management, and warehouse coordination.
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, ERPNext, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with proficiency in Excel and logistics dashboards.
  • Good understanding of logistics documentation, compliance requirements, and freight operations.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong ownership mindset.
