Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation
• Plan and manage dispatch schedules in coordination with plant, procurement, and sales teams
• Monitor warehouse operations including inventory management, stock accuracy, and space utilization
• Ensure seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods across locations
• Manage transporter relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics operations
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and handle escalations efficiently
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs
• Lead and develop the logistics team, ensuring high productivity and accountability

Key Requirements:

• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations or equivalent
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation management and warehouse operations
• Experience in handling multi-location logistics operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
