We are seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and optimizing costs while maintaining high service levels.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire supply chain and logistics operations.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance and support.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and present findings to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, TMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
