Job Summary
The position will be responsible for managing logistics, warehouse operations, import/export documentation, transportation coordination, demo machine movements, spare-parts movement, and coordination with third-party warehouse service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage import and export documentation and related logistics activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and customs-related documentation.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory movement.
- Coordinate closely with transportation companies, courier partners, and logistics service providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and manage GST E-Way Bills wherever applicable.
- Track the movement and location of demo machines and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate the internal issue and receipt of spare parts required for servicing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse receipts, issues, transfers, and dispatches.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for movement of machines, equipment, and spare parts.
- Manage day-to-day operations with the third-party warehouse service provider.
- Monitor warehouse service levels and ensure adherence to agreed processes and timelines.
- Support stock reconciliation and investigate discrepancies where required.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, applicable statutory requirements, and logistics controls.
- Coordinate with Finance, Service, Sales, Procurement, and other teams on logistics-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with import/export documentation is preferred.
- Knowledge of GST and E-Way Bill processes.
- Experience coordinating with courier, transportation, and third-party logistics providers.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
