About Us

The Wellness Shop is a fast-growing D2C Beauty & Wellness brand looking for a Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, order fulfilment, last-mile delivery, reverse logistics, and 3PL management. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless customer deliveries while optimizing logistics costs and operational efficiency as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfilment & Last-Mile Delivery

  • Oversee daily order processing to ensure SLA adherence (on-time dispatch and delivery)
  • Manage relationships with courier partners, 3PLs, and quick-commerce delivery partners; negotiate rates and SLAs
  • Monitor delivery performance metrics (NDR, RTO, TAT, delivery success rate) and drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart) for FBA/FBF and marketplace-specific logistics requirements

Reverse Logistics & Returns

  • Design and manage an efficient returns/exchange process, minimizing RTO (Return to Origin) and RVP (Reverse Pickup) losses
  • Ensure damaged/expired product handling complies with quality and safety standards

Vendor & 3PL Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with logistics partners, packaging vendors, and fulfilment centers
  • Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and service-level agreements to optimize cost per shipment

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to beauty/health/cosmetic product storage, handling, and transport (e.g., batch tracking, expiry management, labelling norms)
  • Maintain documentation for statutory/audit requirements (GST e-way bills, customs for imports if applicable)

Data Analytics, Reporting & Cost Optimization

  • Track key logistics KPIs: cost per order, delivery TAT, RTO %, damage %, inventory accuracy
  • Use data to forecast demand, plan capacity, and identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain
  • Prepare regular MIS reports/dashboards for leadership

Team & Process Management

  • Build and manage a team of logistics coordinators
  • Drive process improvements and SOPs to increase efficiency as order volumes scale
  • Support new city/warehouse launches and expansion planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
  • 3–7 years of experience in logistics/supply chain roles, preferably in D2C, e-commerce, FMCG, or beauty/health/pharma sectors
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), order management systems (OMS), and courier aggregator platforms (Ship rocket, Unicommerce, Increff, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing 3PL/courier partner relationships and negotiating commercial terms
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus
  • Experience handling SKUs with shelf-life/batch tracking requirements (preferred, given beauty/health product nature)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with quick commerce fulfilment (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart)
  • Exposure to international shipping/export logistics (if the brand ships overseas)
  • Knowledge of cosmetic/health product compliance norms (e.g., CDSCO, FSSAI where applicable)

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to build and scale logistics operations for a fast-growing beauty & wellness D2C brand
  • Collaborative, fast-paced startup environment with high ownership
  • Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives
