Role Description
You are the person who makes sure every Zoomies package is picked, packed, dispatched, and delivered flawlessly. This is a ground-level, high-impact execution role at the heart of our operations. You will own the daily dispatch process, manage courier relationships, and ensure every shipment reaches our pet parents on time, every time.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations — ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, labelled, and handed off to courier partners on time.
- Track all shipments in real time and proactively follow up on delays, NDRs (non-delivery reports), and courier exceptions before they escalate.
- Manage relationships with courier partners (Delhivery, Shiprocket, DTDC, etc.) — coordinate pickups, resolve escalations, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Own RTO (return to origin) management — reconcile returned shipments, ensure inventory reintegration, and identify high-RTO pincodes.
- Maintain daily dispatch records, delivery TAT reports, and courier performance scorecards — share weekly to the ops team.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team on packing material availability, order prioritisation, and quality control.
- Assist in COD remittance tracking and reconciliation with the finance team.
- Support the ops manager on courier onboarding, rate negotiations, and SLA reviews.
Must Have Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or last-mile operations at a D2C or e-commerce company.
- Hands-on experience with courier aggregator platforms — Shiprocket, Pickrr, EasyEcom, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail — you catch shipment exceptions early and resolve them fast.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Reliable, ownership-driven, and comfortable being present at the warehouse or fulfilment centre as required.
Good to Have
- Prior experience with NDR management workflows and last-mile optimisation strategies.
- Familiarity with COD reconciliation and courier settlement processes.
- Experience coordinating with Q-Commerce dark store logistics or hyperlocal delivery partners.
