This role is for one of Zepcruit's clients.
- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment from one place to another.
- Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as transportation costs, inventory levels, and delivery times.
- Collaborate with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Identify and mitigate potential logistics risks, such as supply chain disruptions and inventory stockouts.
- Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure better prices and services.
- Implement and maintain logistics management systems, such as transportation management systems and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with logistics-related regulations, such as customs regulations and safety standards.
- Supervise and train logistics staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
