Shift: US Business Day – approximately
7:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, six days a week on rotation
Reporting To: Assistant Manager – Atlanta & US Logistics
About The Role
We are looking for a
hands-on US Operations / Logistics professional to support the Atlanta fulfilment facility and monitor US and Canada shipments during the US business day.
The candidate will be responsible for
shipment tracking, carrier exception handling, label generation, shipment transfers, return-to-shipper cases and shift handovers. The role requires someone who can work independently during the night shift and communicate effectively with US-based teams and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the India-side contact for the Atlanta facility and US carriers during the US business day.
- Generate labels and process shipment transfers for the Atlanta facility.
- Monitor FedEx, UPS and other carrier portals for US and Canada shipments.
- Open and follow up on carrier tracers for shipment exceptions.
- Investigate Delivered but Not Received (DNR) cases using proof of delivery and facility records.
- Coordinate Return to Shipper (RTS) cases within the defined holding period.
- Support marketplace inbound appointments and delivery confirmations routed through Atlanta.
- Reconcile shipment transfers and report discrepancies before shift closure.
- Prepare a daily overnight exception report / handover for the morning team.
- Escalate issues that may impact customer commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of all cases handled during the shift.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
Candidates Must Have
- 3–8 years of relevant Logistics / Operations experience.
- Willingness to work a permanent US-aligned night shift.
- Hands-on experience in shipment tracking and exception handling.
- Experience using carrier portals.
- Knowledge of shipment status, delivery exceptions and tracer/escalation processes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and logistics/tracking systems.
- Ability to manage multiple shipment cases and prioritize urgent issues.
Preferred Experience
- US-facing or overnight logistics operations.
- FedEx / UPS portal experience.
- E-commerce / high-volume parcel operations.
- Marketplace fulfilment experience.
- US logistics / Atlanta operations.
