About Printerpix

Printerpix is a rapidly expanding e-commerce brand at the forefront of online photo printing and personalized gifting. We're a team that thrives on creativity and speed, committed to bringing joy through custom products, from cherished family photo blankets to memory-filled photobooks. As we aggressively expand into new marketing channels and global markets, we need agile talent to drive our ambitious goals. This is your chance to join a fast-paced environment where you'll quickly own significant responsibilities and accelerate your career trajectory.

Role Summary

As our Logistics and Supply Chain Negotiator, you'll be the linchpin for optimizing our global supply chain, directly impacting profitability and customer satisfaction. You will strategically negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and assess risks to ensure Printerpix's continued rapid growth and efficiency in a dynamic e-commerce landscape.

What You'll Build

  • Strategic Vendor Partnerships: You'll build and nurture a robust network of logistics and supply chain partners, negotiating complex contracts to secure optimal terms for cost, service level agreements, and delivery timelines for our diverse product range across domestic and international markets.
  • Cost & Efficiency Frameworks: You'll design and implement strategies to reduce logistics costs by a measurable X% within the first year, focusing on freight, warehousing, and customs, without compromising speed or quality for our e-commerce operations. This includes identifying opportunities for consolidation, alternative shipping routes, and new vendor onboarding.
  • Risk Mitigation & Resilience: You'll develop and execute contingency plans for supply chain disruptions (e.g., port delays, material shortages), ensuring minimal impact on our production and customer delivery promises. This involves proactive risk assessment and building diversified supplier relationships.
  • Data-Driven Supply Chain Intelligence: You'll transform raw logistics data into actionable insights, providing clear recommendations to leadership on performance improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic sourcing opportunities.

Your First 90 Days

  • Week 1-2: Immerse yourself in Printerpix's current supply chain ecosystem. You'll review existing vendor contracts, freight agreements, and logistics operational workflows. Conduct initial 1:1s with key internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Product) to understand immediate pain points and strategic priorities.
  • Month 1: Take ownership of key vendor relationships, initiating performance reviews and identifying 2-3 immediate opportunities for negotiation or process improvement. You'll conduct a preliminary risk assessment of our top 5 most critical supply routes and present your findings and initial mitigation ideas to the Head of Operations.
  • Month 3: Successfully renegotiate terms for at least one major logistics contract, demonstrating a tangible improvement in cost savings or service levels. You'll have identified and initiated outreach with 2-3 potential alternative suppliers to diversify our vendor base, contributing directly to our supply chain resilience goals.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-10 years of experience: in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing, specifically with a strong emphasis on negotiation and vendor relations.
  • Expert Negotiation Skills: You'll confidently lead high-stakes discussions with logistics providers, securing favorable terms that balance cost, speed, and reliability for our fast-paced e-commerce business.
  • Strategic Supply Chain Acumen: You can design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization that directly support our aggressive market expansion plans.
  • Logistics Operations Mastery: Deep understanding of freight forwarding (air, sea, land), warehousing, customs, and last-mile delivery challenges, enabling you to identify efficiencies and cost drivers in a global context.
  • Contract Management Prowess: You'll draft, review, and manage complex service level agreements (SLAs) and contracts, ensuring compliance and favorable terms for Printerpix.
  • Robust Vendor Relationship Management: Proven ability to build, maintain, and evaluate long-term relationships with diverse suppliers, driving performance and fostering collaborative problem-solving.
  • Cost Optimization Focus: A relentless drive to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain, directly contributing to our profitability without compromising operational excellence.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: You can proactively identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, environmental, operational) and develop effective strategies to minimize their impact on our business.
  • Data Analysis Proficiency: You'll use data to analyze performance, identify trends, and back up your negotiation strategies and supply chain recommendations, presenting complex information clearly to cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with SAP SCM or similar large-scale Supply Chain Management systems.
  • Understanding of Lean Principles in a logistics context.
  • Experience in Global Sourcing and navigating international trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Planning and Freight Management best practices.

Why This Role

This isn't just another supply chain role; it's a critical position at the heart of a rapidly scaling e-commerce company in Bangalore. You won't just optimize; you'll strategize, build, and directly influence Printerpix's ability to delight customers globally and expand into new markets. You'll own significant responsibilities from day one, gaining unparalleled experience in a dynamic environment where your impact is visible and valued. Your contributions will directly contribute to our bottom line and customer satisfaction.
