About The Role

We are looking for a highly driven Supply Chain Planning Analyst to support Caterpillar's global transportation and logistics connectivity ecosystem. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless digital integration between Caterpillar and its global network of transportation partners, enabling shipment visibility, operational stability, and global supply chain performance. This role sits within the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) and is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fastpaced technical operations environment, enjoy solving complex data and system issues, and excel at crossfunctional coordination

Key Responsibilities

Carrier Connectivity & Onboarding

  • Lead onboarding of international and domestic carriers (Ocean, Dray, Intermodal, Ground) into Caterpillar's e2open connectivity platform.
  • Conduct endtoend EDI testing (204, 990, 214, 300, 301 & 315), scenario validation, and production readiness checks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for onboarding activities between carriers, e2open/WiseTech, and internal stakeholders.

EDI & Integration Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve integration failures, mapping issues, missing milestones, and transaction anomalies.
  • Validate data flows across e2net, Blue Yonder TM (BYTM), Snowflake based Data Warehouse, Integration Monitor, and downstream systems.
  • Support restoration of service for business users and minimize operational disruptions.

Transportation Data Management

  • Ensure accurate reflection of shipment milestones and operational events in BYTM, Nexus, and Snowflake based Data Warehouse.
  • Perform manual updates when automated feeds fail, maintaining high data integrity.
  • Validate active load mappings, staging, and flow-through of transportation data.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide insights through analysis of shipment patterns, onboarding readiness, and carrier performance.
  • Prepare datadriven reports (e.g., Leg1 GTOCA/GTOCC analysis, onboarding status, exception reporting).
  • Enable the creation and maintenance of dashboards and operational trackers.

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Operations, IT/Integration teams, Procurement, Network Engineering, and global transportation partners.
  • Organize and lead recurring project meetings, testing calls, and issueresolution sessions.
  • Communicate clearly by translating technical issues into actionable business updates.

Standard Work & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain Standard Work for onboarding processes, milestone updates, and data validation workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with Caterpillar documentation guidelines and audit expectations.

  • Blue Yonder Transportation Manager (BYTM)/TMS Systems
  • Snowflake/Oracle
  • Power BI/Tableau
  • O365 Tools (Power Automate/Power App/SharePoint/SharePoint Lists)

Candidate Profile

Required Competencies

  • Strong understanding of global transportation processes and EDI transaction flows.
  • Solid analytical foundation with the ability to diagnose data/system issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics systems (BYTM, e2open, TMS platforms).
  • Experience in supply chain data management or digital integration roles.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools.
  • Lean/Automation mindset with ability to use tools available to improve processes/reduce manual work
