We are seeking an experienced Logistic Manager to lead our logistics operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes, managing logistics teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire logistics operation, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and lead the logistics team, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with transportation providers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and present findings to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in logistics.
