Logistic Executive (Quality Control)

Role Description The Logistic Executive (Quality Control) is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajasthan, India. The role involves overseeing daily logistics operations for wood pellet movement, including coordination with warehouses, transport partners, and supply chain teams. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality during loading, storage, and dispatch, conducting inspections, maintaining quality control documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Logistic Executive will manage shipment schedules, track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The role also requires continuous improvement of logistics processes and quality checks to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills to manage inventory, transportation, and delivery workflows.
• Education : 12th/B.Sc/B.A/B.SC(Hons)
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.
• Candidates should possess basic Sales and relationship management skills to support order coordination and maintain positive client interactions.
• Candidates should have experience in quality control, inspection procedures, and documentation related to logistics or manufacturing.
• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in an on-site industrial environment.
• Candidates should preferably have a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or renewable energy operations in India is an advantage.

Quality Control & Assurance (QC/QA)

• Raw Material Testing: Oversee the inspection of incoming agro-residues (mustard husk, sawdust, straw) for moisture content, ash percentage, and foreign contaminants (sand, soil) before unloading.
• In-Process Quality Checking: Monitor the conditioning, drying, and pelleting phases to ensure optimal moisture levels (typically below 10–12%) for solid binding.
• Finished Product Certification: Test finished pellets for core metrics: Gross Calorific Value (GCV), bulk density, pellet durability index (PDI), diameter, and ash content.
• Lab Management: Establish and manage the on-site testing laboratory, calibrate testing equipment (bomb calorimeters, moisture analyzers), and issue Quality Certificates for client dispatches.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Fleet & Transport Coordination: Manage daily dispatches by coordinating with commercial truck fleets, local transporters, and internal drivers for timely deliveries to industrial units.
• Inventory Control: Monitor raw material silos and finished pellet warehouses to prevent storage degradation, spontaneous combustion, or moisture re-absorption.
• Inbound Logistics: Schedule and streamline the arrival of seasonal crop residues from aggregators and farmers to avoid plant chokepoints.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure full legal compliance for transits, managing e-way bills, weighbridge receipts (Kanta slips), delivery challans, and gate passes.
