Quantity Surveyor
Terra Amata Design Consortium is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for our Chennai office.
Location
Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, with exposure to government project estimation and approval processes.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and logical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Handle government project estimation and approval procedures.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and site teams to optimize costs.
- Assist in contract negotiations, valuations, and payment certifications.
- Prepare drawings and ensure accuracy in quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
