Job Description:

The Localization Vendor Manager supports the day-to-day management of freelance linguists and language service vendors. The role involves coordinating project requirements, maintaining vendor records, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely communication between internal teams and external partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with freelance translators, reviewers, and localization vendors for project assignments.
• Maintain and update the vendor database, including profiles, language pairs, rates, and availability.
• Assist in vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Track project schedules and ensure timely delivery from vendors.
• Communicate project requirements, timelines, and feedback to vendors.
• Coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling or delivery issues.
• Help process vendor invoices and maintain payment-related documentation.
• Prepare basic reports on vendor utilization, turnaround time, and performance.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred: Languages, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related fields).
• Experience in vendor coordination, operations, localization, or project support
• Experience working with Language Service Providers (LSPs) and freelance translator networks.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of CAT tools and localization workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
