Job Summary

As a Loan Servicing Manager - Vice President within Loans, you oversee daily team execution to meet SLAs and operational priorities. You manage end-to-end servicing activities including deal closing, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, pre-payments, funding, rate-fixings, fees, and external payments. You also strengthen controls, enable continuous improvement, and develop talent to sustain high-quality delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily workflow to ensure SLA adherence and escalate exceptions for timely resolution.
  • Supervise end-to-end processes including deal closing, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and pre-payments.
  • Ensure consistent delivery against quality and quantity SLAs through disciplined capacity and workflow management.
  • Act as SME for complex queries and coordinate handoffs with onshore partners when required.
  • Implement knowledge management through SOP governance, updates, and structured training.
  • Drive compliance with process policies, guidelines, controls, and audit expectations.
  • Motivate team members through coaching, feedback, and performance management routines.
  • Identify root causes, evaluate options, and recommend solutions to resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate across stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes.
  • Assess training needs across process, product, and soft skills to improve effectiveness.
  • Build operational resilience by maintaining trained backups for critical queues and peak volumes.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 12 years of relevant loan servicing experience.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience supporting syndicated loans and/or back-office financial operations.
  • Apply strong knowledge of cash/nostro matching and General Ledger reconciliation practices.
  • Use SWIFT and remittance systems confidently for payment processing and investigations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills for issue resolution.
  • Maintain a strong risk and control mindset across processes and escalations.
  • Lead people, performance, and escalation management while driving delivery-focused projects.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Leverage working knowledge of loan servicing platforms such as Loan IQ.
  • Influence stakeholders and lead structured conversations to align on priorities and decisions.
  • Present succinct recommendations and issue summaries to senior management with clarity.
  • Communicate effectively across functions to accelerate domain learning and execution.
  • Apply strong judgment and analytical thinking to ambiguous, time-sensitive situations.
  • Understand investment banking loan products and the servicing lifecycle end-to-end.
  • Partner with product and operations teams to improve controls, efficiency, and client outcomes.
