Role and Responsibilities

  • Transaction Oversight: Approve KYC, gold appraisal, payment, and release transactions within defined timelines.
  • Operational Management: Manage day-to-day operations related to transaction approvals, loan processing, and back-office tasks.
  • Compliance & Process Control: Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines for all transactions.
  • Error Identification: Detect and report discrepancies or errors in KYC, gold appraisal, payment, and release processes.
  • Gold Appraisal: Perform accurate visual inspections to identify spurious gold and calculate stone deductions effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in gold loan appraisal or back-office operations.
  • Education: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
  • Industry Experience: Preferred experience in NBFCs, banking, financial services, or gold loan operations.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to differentiate between genuine and spurious gold; knowledge of standard deduction practices for embedded stones.
  • Language Requirement: Ability to read in Marathi or Gujarati is mandatory.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in large, diverse teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Capable of managing and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Work Ethic: Self-driven, dedicated, and maintains a positive and professional attitude.
