Job Description

The Loan Administration Senior Officer will play a key role in maintaining accuracy of life cycle events of syndicated loans in different loan platforms. The Senior Officer will manage more complex tasks like processing paydowns, PIKs and restructuring, provide guidance to Officers, and assist the Manager in optimizing processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth transition of loan administration activities to the India-based team and supporting ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively and accurately identify incoming agent notices; process all life cycle events for portfolios containing multiple asset types
  • Collaborate with Loan Administrators to interpret, problem-solve and to help better understand loan related information to successfully identify notices or resolve exceptions
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with agent banks to confirm and obtain loan notices.
  • Effectively interact with internal and external parties including Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement, Trustees and Agent Banks
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, providing feedback to Officers and making recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Proactively taking on additional responsibilities and administrational tasks as required by your managers or clients
  • Train and mentor Officers on loan admin processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

PROFILE

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or reconciliation.
  • Sound knowledge of Syndicated Loans & Structured Credit products.
  • Working knowledge of different Loan platforms like WSO, Sentry & Solvas would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train junior team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reconciliation software.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
