Litigation Specialist

About company- A well known Listed organisation in Manufacturing sector (Automotive manufacturing)

Industry preference - Any Manufacturing sector/Law firm with extensive experience in Litigation matters

Work location - Gurugram

Working days - 5 days working , work from office

Designation - DGM - Litigation, reporting to Head- Legal

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE : Very good comm skills and ability to interact with senior management

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS :

- Graduate with Law Degree from a College/Institute of repute with minimum 14-20 years of experience.

- A litigation experience of 3-4 as a practicing lawyer in the Metropolitan Courts/ High court is preferable.

- Hands-on with all laws and court procedure is necessary.

- Excellent negotiation Skills.

Role:

Independently dealing with the entire litigation for the company including Civil, Criminal, Negotiable Instrument, a Competition Law/Anti-Trust, Anti-Dumping, Corporate Fraud, Commercial, Environment, Intellectual Property, Legal Metrology, Cyber Laws, Property laws, Consumer Affairs, Share/ Stocks, Arbitration, FEMA & Miscellaneous Laws.

Major job role:

- Attending the Courts/ Tribunals at PAN India level in Civil, Criminal and Anti-Trust etc. matters.

- Drafting and vetting Written Statements in Civil and Consumer cases, misc. applications etc.

- Advising the internal customers at HO and field level on day-to-day basis for smooth running of the business.

- Time to time educating the internal customer organizing workshops/ conferences to update and sensitize them about the changing law and regulations

Internal & external coordination:

- Interacting with senior management and co-ordination with Marketing/ Commercial, Customer Services, Accounts and field staff.

- Co-ordination with concerned Govt. departments, Police, Labour Department etc. Engaging and briefing Senior Advocates/ Local lawyers.
