About the Role
We are looking for a Literary Expert (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on literary analysis, creative interpretation, language understanding, critical reasoning, and cultural context.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to literary criticism, poetry, prose, novels, drama, storytelling, rhetorical analysis, and academic literary content, helping improve how AI models understand and generate nuanced literary insights.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for education, content generation, research assistance, language understanding, and humanities-focused applications.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated literary analyses, interpretations, and written content
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for literary accuracy, critical thinking, interpretive depth, contextual relevance, and analytical quality
- Identify misinterpretations, factual inaccuracies, weak arguments, contextual gaps, or stylistic issues in AI-generated content and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving literary criticism, text analysis, academic writing, content review, and humanities research
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on literature, language, and critical reasoning
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent professional experience in Literature, English, Comparative Literature, Linguistics, Humanities, or a related field
- Strong understanding of literary theory, literary criticism, textual analysis, and major literary traditions
- Familiarity with poetry, fiction, drama, non-fiction, and diverse literary genres
- Experience in teaching, research, publishing, editing, literary criticism, content creation, or academic writing is preferred
- Ability to evaluate complex texts and provide detailed analytical feedback
- Strong writing, communication, critical thinking, and research skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
