Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Linux / VMware Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our server infrastructure. The role involves supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of systems across Linux and VMware environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and VMware infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Perform regular patching, upgrades, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, virtualization, and storage.
- Implement and maintain system security and compliance standards.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Collaborate with IT and application teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Linux and VMware Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Experience in storage, networking, and server hardware.
- Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCSA/RHCE, VCP) are an added advantage.
