We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Linux environments, ensuring system performance, and implementing security measures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems.
• Ensure system security and data integrity by implementing best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux environments.
• Monitor system performance and optimize configurations as needed.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments on Linux.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong understanding of Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, VMware).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
