Job Description
Opcito Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Linux kernel developer to develop and maintain endpoint software on macOS and Linux. The candidate will work on low-level system components and collaborate with the broader agent team to deliver across platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Development experience on Linux and/or macOS
- Understanding of operating system fundamentals
- Experience writing and debugging systems-level code
- Comfortable with cross-platform build tooling
- Works well independently and within a team
- Bachelors in computer science required
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain macOS and Linux platform components
- Debug and resolve platform-specific issues across OS versions
- Write and maintain tests including platform-specific scenarios
- Collaborate on cross-platform design and architecture
- Contribute to build and release processes
- Support field escalations related to your platform areas
